ABBY
Abby
Abby is a four year old spayed female in good health who appears to be a BC, maybe Golden Retreiver mix.  I rescued Abby from the Agoura shelter.  She is a dog that I knew from the dog park and when I heard that she had been relinquished to the shelter without her owner even trying to get her a home, or contacting a rescue group, a friend and I went to get her.

Abby likes other dogs and is good with cats, but she is sometimes fearful of men (barks).  Her previous owner said she barked and was too high energy for him although he had had her for 3 years.  Abby likes to play ball, run and play with other dogs, and go jogging.  She is very fit and would probably be very good at agility.  She is obedient as far as coming back when you call her and is fantastic off leash, but sit is a little hard for her (we'll try to work on that).

Abby is a busy lady but she loves to cuddle on the couch.  She needs a job and an owner that will understand her and keep her occupied.  She likes to go in the car --- she wants to be your co-pilot!  She is fantastic at the dog park, loves to run and is very social.  At the dog park, she greets people and dogs and is not fearful of them.  She has been good in the house and not destructive, and does not show signs of separation anxiety.  She is probably not good with small children because of her herding instincts.

Abby is looking for that special someone in her life and she will devote all of herself to that person.  I am looking for a person understands border collies and can give her a forever home that she so deserves.  We want this to be her last home.

If you are interested in Abby, please contact CiCi Breslin, either by phone (805) 300-1567 or email me at Fairuzas@aol.com .
