Barney is a handsome 18-month old smooth coat Border Collie with traditional marking. A real lover, Barney has best friend potential plus! He walks on leash and enjoys being with his foster mom. He is a dominant male and as such should not be placed into a home with other males, but does very well with females that are not dominant. Barney has VERY strong prey drive and can not be placed with cats or pocket pets. He is very gentle with people but has not been tested with little ones. Although there is no indication this would be an issue, a meet and greet would be required. Barney has lower to medium energy and, being very eager to please, might make a good candidate as an obedience dog. | |
