Welcome!
BOGIE
Bogie
BOGIE is a 18 month-old purebred Border Collie.  He has a tri-color semi-rough (long) coat that will get fuller with age.  What a head-turner he is, stealing your heart with his ethereal sky blue eyes and lovely markings.  Even my "girls" (the female fosters) find him irresistible!  Bogie is medium to high energy level and well suited for active-to-very active people, because Bogie is no slouch!  This boy is going to need regular daily exercise, and is a great prospect for a jogger, power walker, or hiker.  Typical for his youth, Bogie would benefit from a basic obedience course.  We recommend this for all our fosters as, when started shortly after adoption, it helps forge the bonding process.

I am not recommending a home with toddlers for this active boy - not that he would hurt them, but could easily knock them over with his enthusiastic energy level.  Not yet tested on cats, I would be surprised if he does not have strong prey drive, and will test upon request.  As you can see Bogie enjoys water in true Border Collie fashion, though he does not get crazed as some do.  A quick dip in the heat of the day to cool off and he is happy.  Bogie is looking for someone with some Border Collie (or other herding breed) experience, as his activity level will be a bit challenging for those not familiar with the breed.
