Caressa is a loving, sweet girl who has endured much suffering. She arrived with a case of mange so severe that it had infected her skin and caused oozing sores. She also had bad ear infections in both ears, but with the help of our caring vets, she has overcome her health challenges and is ready for adoption! When she landed at the public shelter, she looked so worn out by life that the staff thought she was 4-5 years old. As it turns out, she is closer to 2 years old and eager to begin her new life!
Caressa LOVES toys and is always seen with one in her mouth. Her favorite game is tug-o-war which she can play forever. Caressa is good with other dogs but she plays rather rough, so a larger dog is an ideal companion for this tomgirl. She is in a foster home and she is housebroken. A home with another dog that likes to rough-house would be terrific! She has come such a long way from when she first arrived--we want her happy ending to be complete with a loving home. She is approximately 50-55 pounds and will remain on the smaller side.
