CASEY
Casey
Casey is a spayed female 1½ years old black and white smooth coated Border Collie Mix.  Casey was adopted from the Helen Woodward Animal Center in Ranch Santa Fe, CA in October of 2013.  We have had some typical breed behaviors which we were unprepared for and are seeking a home in which she can thrive.

Casey is wonderful house dog although I think she needs more outside time than we can give her.  She is very well trained in general obedience.  (Sit, stay, kennel, wait for food, house trained, off, etc.)  She is a very intelligent dog and learns new commands quickly.  Her FAVORITE thing to do is play Frisbee.  She current spends most time inside with the family due to our smaller yard and stays in her kennel when we are away and at night.  She walks twice a day, playing Frisbee during one of those outings.  Casey loves to be a lap dog when she can.  She is not a licker.  She is not a big lover of water although she will go in.  She only chews her toys and has never damaged any items which were not given to her.

Casey has very typical border collie tendencies of herding and nipping and is protective against strangers.  She has been good with my children who are 11, 13, and 15 as well as my nephews who are 6 and 8.  She does not like men coming into the house or men approaching while on walks.  She also does not like bikes or skateboards.  She needs a home with a yard.  She will greet you at with her body waggle each and every day. If you are interested in meeting Casey, please contact Angie at ajoralemon128@netscape.net or call 858-382-8616.
