Daisy is 5-6 years old, and weighs 44 lbs. She was abandoned at a vacant house and someone took her to a community clinic in South L.A where she was so stressed out in boarding that she lost 15 lbs. The spay they did left her with an infected hernia. She also had a couple of raw patches on her rear from chewing. My vet treated everything and we did a full blood panel to make sure she was in good health - which she is - other than a slight tremor in her left rear leg which is maybe the result of a previous injury and has improved since she has been in the foster home. Whatever the case it does not interfere with her ability to run around, chase balls, and go for long walks! (see video clips) She is primarily BC but there is probably another breed in the mix too judging by her tail.
Daisy is a very sweet dog, with a wonderful smile, who leans in close and rolls on her back for affection. She is very smart and will play fetch. She loves to be with people. She gets along with other dogs, large and small, although she shows no inclination to play with them. She is spayed and microchipped, up to date on her shots and knows basic commands. Daisy is house and crate trained, walks well on leash, rides well in car, and is good around men. I have not seen her around children or cats. She is protective of her person, and will circle them when other dogs are around. I feel she would do best as an only dog for that reason.
