Meet Emma. Emma is a 2-3 years old female red merle smooth coat Border Collie/ She has prick ears and 1 blue & 1 marbled eye but it’s mostly blue). She's on the smaller side and weighs 32 – 33 lbs. Emma is an owner surrender to BCIN.
Emma requires a BC savvy home and would not be suited for the first time BC owner. She wants to forge a really close bond with her person. She can be a bit shy and snippy if you approach her too quickly. But, once she sizes you up, she is quick to bond. She needs a quieter household without a lot of stimulus. We do not recommend her in a home with kids.
Emma is housetrained, cat friendly with dog savvy cats, crate trained and walks well on a leash. She knows basic commands: come, sit, down, leave it, stay
