What a handsome boy this yearling is going to be! Frankie has a semi rough coat and is tri in color. His coat will fill in as he matures between 3 and 5. His face and eyes are very expressive when he cocks his head to make us laugh, and we're sure his clown potential will blossom futher in his forever home. He is an exuberant teenager with all the energy associated with this age. Frankie will be a bit more challenging to train, so is not the best candidate for the first time BC owner. Those who know the breed will love his drive, energy, and the challenge to help him become all that he can be. Frankie has a high prey drive, so a home without small animals or cats is necessary. Also due to his exuberance, we do not recommend a home with toddlers as, in his excitement, he could knock a wee one down. As we generally recommend opposite sex placement, Frankie would do best in a home with no male dogs. Being a teen, he hasn't yet learned to leave the older, more dominant boys alone and then gets into trouble. He gets along beautifully with all the females, however. Frankie is looking for a home that is active and has a canine girlfriend awaiting him. He would be very unhappy as an only dog, so we will not place him as such. With consistent guidance, Frankie is going to make someone a very nice dog. Are you up to the challenge? | |
