 |
Glynn is an 18 month old male Border Collie with a high drive. He is a gorgeous traditional black & white with semi rough coat. Glynn was found stray after being struck by a vehicle. Lucky for him there were no fractures. His wound was very large down the leg, as you can see. He was treated at the shelter and came to us still bandaged and healing. Glynn has mostly healed up now with a 2-3 inch scab left. This will continue to heal and from day one, has not stopped this active boy. He runs and plays like he was never injured.
Glynn is a dominant male, so we are recommending opposite sex placement for him. A strong personality female would suit him well. As he can become very vocal when isolated from other dogs, we do not recommend him as an only dog. Glynn is showing herding instinct and would probably want to herd cats, so a sans-cat home will be needed. Although he has also tried to herd some of the little dogs, he has not hurt any of them. He loves the water, a complete water fiend, and it's hard to find this boy dry!
Glynn has a strong will and would be best placed with a BC experienced owner. He will be a rewarding dog to train, but training is definitely needed. For now, he is learning the use of a dog door. Check back for updates as we get to know this handsome devil.
Glynn is being fostered in San Bernardino County. |
