JACKSON
Aggie
I am posting handsome Jackson for someone who needs help. He lives in Orange County and needs a wonderful, caring new home.  Here is what his owner says about Jackson:

“Please help Jackson - we're homeless (orange county).  Hi - I have been living in my car for over a year trying to hold on to my dog because he is my baby and has never given up on me.  I am giving up hope of being able to get us out of this situation and it's really taken a toll on this sweet dog and he deserves better . I may not, but he does.  His name is Jackson and I found him in the street in Texas when he was 10 weeks old, he is now 10 years old.  Until last year, I was able to give him a safe, stable and fun life, but things have changed drastically and I can't bear to put him through this uncertainty/stress anymore.  Plus, he has arthritis in one leg and being in the car so much hasn't been good for it.  I think he is a border collie/shepherd mix, he has always been socialized and loves dog parks, hiking/swimming and people.  I used to foster rescue dogs and he was always incredibly tolerant of different dog personalities and sharing his mom with dogs in need.  I have always treated him with respect and like family (I have no children, he is my child) so I can only consider a home that would do the same as he is very sensitive (he doesn't even like swearing).  I don't even know if re-homing him will work, I've only been away from him twice in his life and he was depressed.  I am just hoping that he would be so relieved to have a real home that he would be okay...otherwise I would take him back.  It seems unimaginable to even consider giving him up but I have to try to do what is best for him.  Please let me know if you or anyone you know would like to love Jackson for the rest of his life, we would both be forever grateful.”

Please contact Lori at lmmercer@gmail.com if you can offer Jackson a home or foster him until his owner can be reunited with him.
