Jenna is a 2 and a half year-old, pure bred Border Collie with a gorgeous rough coat. Her traditional black and white markings make her the definitive "Barbie Collie" with the sassy personality to match!
Jenna is one of the many victims of our current economic times. She came into our program turned in by an owner who loved her so much, she asked us to find Jenna the perfect home that she could no longer provide. Jenna is a great family dog and she loves to be right by your side. She gets along very well with other dogs and LOVES to play chase, an activity she gets to do every day with her foster brother. Jenna is not a "fetch" kind of gal. That being said, she thoroughly enjoys chasing her playmates when they're fetching. It's quite the fun game she's created for herself and all the dogs in her new pack have been happy to oblige. She is extremely attentive and corrects so easily, a simple ah-ah or shake of the finger is all that is necessary. She knows her obedience basics… sit, stay, down, heel. Jenna is completely potty trained, crate trained, and her house manners are perfect. I don't know if she can use a doggie door, since we go for three walks a day, but I imagine training her to use one would be a snap. She is fantastic on-leash and rides wonderfully in the car.
I wish I could find the right words to convey how lovely, sweet and wonderful this girl is. It has been an absolute joy having her stay with us and I look forward to the time in the very near future when she will go to her new forever home.
