Luke is a very handsome, saddle-patterned sable Border Collie in his Golden Years. He is approximately 10 years old and is a very sweet boy. Being retired, he enjoys lounging around the house and watching "The Price Is Right" and "Ellen". He does enjoy following you around the house or going outside with you and being by your side. Luke is a very quiet and content guy but will voice his opinion about things at times. He likes to "yell" at the youngsters, the other dogs, when they get a little too rowdy outside and tells them "to settle down" and would probably say "you kids get off my lawn" if they were strangers. Luke has a wonderfully sweet disposition and nothing seems to bother him.
Luke is good around all dogs, and my 2 year old grandson. He is house trained and will go to the door when he has to go outside. He sleeps on dog beds all over the house and prefers to sleep in the same room with you at night. He has perfect manners inside and out. Luke's hearing is not too good but he can see very well. He also has some arthritis which he has been on joint supplements and gets two, 81 coated, aspirins a day which he takes willingly with a pill pocket. Luke will be adopted under our Senior Program.
