Meet Max. Max is a male 3 year old tri-color BC mix. We believe that he may have some Aussie in him, or some type of guardian breed dog in him.
Max has basic obedience training, crates well, and has nice house manners. He can and will climb a 6ft chain link, so it is best that his new home does not have any chain link. Max loves to ride in the car and to go places. He is fine with people, generally if he can approach them first. He does not like continued petting from strangers. It is best to greet him and leave him alone until he wants further attention. Therefore, Max should not be placed in a home where there is children or an overly stimulating home environment. He is good with other medium to large dogs. He is also a very loyal dog. He is good around horses and livestock. Max corrects well when he needs minding. Max plays catch and is good about being bathed and having his toenails trimmed.
