Welcome!
MIA
King
Where to begin?  Mia is a very striking 10-12 month-old red & white female Border Collie with very expressive pale, wolf-like eyes.  Don't let the photos fool you, however, as they do not capture the true beauty of this wonderful girl.  Mia is energetic and playful, and will drop into a crouch at any opportunity of herding the other dogs.  She gets along with others, but will stand her ground when need be, so we recommend opposite sex placement to avoid gender competition.  Mia is a ham, loves to clown, and has been a pure joy to foster.  She appears to be housebroken, having had no accidents, and has nice house manners.  Her favorite room is the kitchen, where she can be a little nosey (imagine that!).  Mia settles down nicely in the evening, and can be trusted, without crating, even around your favorite pair of shoes.  What a perfect house guest she has been, unphased by our cats, who are canine terrorists and excellent testers of dogs!  Due to her energy, we recommend an active home, and feel she would be a good candidate for agility.  She may also be keen on sheep, which can be tested at the request of serious applicants.  Mia is a great all-around Border Collie looking for the permanent home lucky enough to have her.
