| Oso is a happy-go-lucky 1 year old male tri-color Border Collie, possibly Aussie mix, with a beautiful rough coat. He gets along well with other dogs (even smaller ones) and loves to play with his foster siblings. He does fixates on cats, so a home without cats is recommended. Oso has typical energy for his age--he is exhuberant, still very puppy-like, and full of life. He will require consistent activity in his life, but he will probably start to mellow out as he settles into his forever home and matures into adulthood. He can be quite a talker when excited, especially when he sees you after being away. Oso can be a little shy upon first meeting you, but he will warm up quickly, looking for affection, once he has a few minutes to get to know you. He definately craves attention and wants nothing more than to please you. Oso loves to go for walks, and is great on the leash and rides well in the car. He knows basic commands, but he would benefit from an obedience class. He is also crate trained. Oso would make a wonderful addition to your family as a companion dog. |
