Panda is a 2 year old male black and white smooth coated border collie. Panda was an owner surrender to the shelter. Panda is a nervous and timid dog. He is the type of dog that needs to be approached slowly so he can get chance to know you. Then he warms right up to you and is a cuddle bug. Because of this, Panda should be placed in a home that is quiet and a very BC savvy home. He is not well suited for the novice BC owner. Panda should be placed in a home without children, because of the stimulus and his nervousness. Panda is gets along with other dogs, but he does fence fight.
Panda is a higher energy dog, as he is always looking for action. He is true to the breed of being athletic. He would make a great companion dog for someone with a more active lifestyle who likes to hike or run. Panda does have an off button and adores being with his person. He wants nothing more than to forge a close bond with his person. A home with another dog and the a person who works from home part time is preferred. Panda does look to his person for direction and would blossom with an owner who thoroughly understands this breed, quirks and all.
