PIPER |
|
Meet Piper. Piper is a 5 year old female Border Collies Mix. Piper has come a long way since she came into her current foster home. When Piper first entered our rescue program, she was very scared of everyone and just shook would she would meet new people or dogs. This poor timid gal did not know why her people did not come for her when she was picked as a stray. Her shaking has almost stopped and she is slowly starting to trust new people. Piper is looking for her person to bond with.
Piper is housebroken and she will go to the door to let you know she needs to go outside. Piper does not like being in a crated and exhibits anxiety when she is one. However, this does not happen when she is out of her crate when left alone with the other dogs. At home Piper gets super excited and runs around in circles just looking for some attention. She has just started to play with toys and is slowly starting to figure out how to play with other dogs. She loves going on walks. She gets daily visits to the dog park and loves exploring and taking in all the smells. She gets along with the dogs and cats in her foster home, but once the cats are outside she chases them, a home without a cat would be best.
The type of home that would be best suited for Piper is a home without a lot of stimulus or noise. She is a very loving dog and wants to be your canine companion. She is the type of dog that would love to snuggle up with you while you watch a movie.
If you are interested in meeting our dogs, please fill out an adoption application. We require a pre-approved application to be on file before any meet and greets are scheduled. The electronic application can be found on our website at http://www.bordercolliesinneed.org/border_collie_rescue_and_adoptions/adoption_application.html
