18 month old semi-rough coat female purebred Border Collie. Purdy is one of the sweetest and nicest Border Collies I have ever come across. She bonds to every single person she meets within seconds and loves children – she is extremely gentle and loving. She is so calm and well behaved and has the best manners ever – she makes an impression on everyone she meets. She gets along with all dogs and my small pocket pets are no problem. I would say she probably is great with cats, although I don’t have any so couldn’t test her. She loves to play with other dogs and is very, very quiet. She only barks once in a great while, and when she does, her bark is not very loud at all. She doesn’t chew and has no bad habits. She is the best snuggler and has a very luxurious coat – she loves to lay her chin across your neck when you’re laying down or lay across your chest. She weighs 39 lbs. She is very respectful of other animals, people and possessions. She follows voice commands very well. As you can probably guess, I sure wish I could keep her, but I’m at my limit, so some lucky family will be thrilled to be the ones who ultimately get to adopt this gem of a dog. Purdy does have a little corneal scarring on her left eye that she’s had since birth, but the doctor says it causes her no problems at all. It just shows itself as a small white cloud in the middle of her left eye, but it doesn’t affect her beautiful looks one bit. |
