Meet Zoe. Zoe is a female 8 year old black and white smooth coated BC. Her DOB is 12/13/10. Zoe was an owner surrender to BCIN and she was very well taken care of and loved by her person. We were told that they had many wonderful adventures together.
What an amazing dog Zoe is. She is completely housetrained, and knows her obedience commands. We also discovered that Zoe is a water baby and loves to play in the water. Zoe enjoys a good game of playing fetch and catching a frisbee. She loves to ride in the car and go for hikes. She's still energetic and needs exercise. She's ready to go when you are.
Upon first meeting Zoe, she is engaging and outgoing with strangers. Zoe met her foster siblings today and is fine with other dogs. She has not been evaluated with small kids or cats.
She would make a fabulous traveling partner for those who like to take their dogs on trips. She also would make a wonderful companion for an active senior. Zoe also has an off button, and enjoys being the center of attention with her person. All in all, Zoe would make a wonderful companion.
Please open your heart and home to adopting a senior. BCIN takes in more than a fair share of the senior BCs, as it is fact that adoption rates in the shelter are reduced significantly once a dog reaches 5 years of age. Zoe will be adopted under our senior program. This means we reduce our adoption fee significantly so that she can find a loving home where she can spend the rest of her golden years.
