Welcome!
MAX
Skidz
Max is a male 3 year old BC/Pointer mix and has a rough coat.  Max has really blossomed since he has entered into our rescue program.  He was completely withdrawn and nervous at the shelter and deemed unsuitable for the public to adopt even though the shelter adoption coordinator felt that with a little TLC he would make a nice companion (she was right on!).  BCIN was his only hope of making it out of the shelter and his rehabilitation has been remarkable over the last 2 months.  The gleam that is now in his eyes is worth a thousand words. Max is housebroken, walks on a leash, jumps right into a car, loves going to the dog park, gets along well with other dogs, and is willing to trust humans.  He can be a little shy upon apparoach with men, but warms right up to women.  He is very affectionate once he gets to know you.  Max has done well with my dog savvy cats.  He likes to watch TV with you and will settle down and cuddle next to you.  He is fine with children, but because sudden movements and loud noises can make him a bit skittish, I am recommending a home with children over 10 years of age.  Max would benefit from an obedience class and it would really help him to trust and bond with his new human.  Max has so much to offer and is willing to learn.
