Smiley is approximately 1 year old and is a lovely female purebred traditional black and white semi rough coat Border Collie. She has white markings on her lips that look like a smile, hence her name. She is a low to medium energy dog that loves water. Smiley could be easily encouraged to develop her potential in amateur sports, as she has shown interest in Frisbee and is ball motivated. She is housebroken and knows how to use a doggie door. She has been evaluated with cats and is fine with them; however, she has not been evaluated with children. Smiley loves to be inside or outside, as long as she is with her human. She craves attention and can be a bit manipulative in how she receives it. She requires consistency in discipline in the household so that she does not become an alpha female and run the household (her foster home does not think she really wants to be an alpha, but if you let her, she will become one). She responds very well to correction. Smiley will be spayed on 2/1 and will not be available for adoption until after that date, however, we are accepting applications for her. |
