TOURNAMENT RESULTS!
Border Collies In Need was honored to hold its 1st Annual Dogs Days of Summer Golf Tournament on August 20th at the Indian Hills Golf Club in Riverside. The tournament opened with Russ Bledsoe playing the bagpipes honoring the BC heritage. The golfers were blessed with great weather which was followed by a sumptuous buffet for all who attended. The golf course was decorated beautifully with all of our hole sponsors, along with the Dixon Vixens. BCIN even had a surprise appearance from the Red Bull girls. However, nothing could compete with former BCIN foster Daisy Duke who graced our event by riding around the course in a golf cart. You've come a long way, Daisy, and way to go! Banquet attendees were entertained during the raffle by Allison Ash. There were raffle prizes galore and hardly a person went home empty handed. BCIN can't wait to do it again next year, and the BCIN rescue dogs thank all the donors and participants for making this a special day for them. | |

We will be having a delicious BBQ Buffet Lucheon immediately following the Golf Tournament. This is open for those of you who would like to participate, but don't play golf. The Wedgewood Barbecue Buffet Luncheon menu, shown to the left, is being offered at $37.50 per person. The Wedgewood Banquet Room opens at Noon. | ACCOMMODATIONS |
| The Hilton Garden Inn Fontana is offering Border Collies In Need tournament attendees rooms for Friday night at a discount rate of $64.00 plus tax, per night. Contact Ms. Fiorella Arbizu, (909)822-7300 X4908. You must mention your party is with Border Collies in Need to get the discounted price. The hotel is about a 15 minute drive from the course. We did this so our out-of-area guests do not have to drive far on the day of the event. Check in is 3 pm on Fri, check out is noon on Saturday. |
