Reba is the most ravishing red & white 1 year old Border Collie with a smooth coat. Reba's looks are star quality with her striking split face and odd colored eyes, which means that one is amber and the other is the palest blue. She was listed by shelter personnel as a BC/McNab mix, but this girl is BC through and through. Reba is a happy go lucky redhead, who enjoys life, and who is quite the clown to gain attention from her foster mom. She is an affectionate dog and her foster mom comments that she has been a pure joy to foster and really wants to please her human. She rides well without a crate in the truck and will jump right in, ready to go for the next adventure. As with all of our fosters, we recommend obedience classes to forge that close bond between adopter and dog and to fine tune their manners. Reba is no exception, as she could use some work on her leash manners which will be a simple fix. Due to her exuberant personality, she would probably be a bit too active around toddlers. BCIN is continuing to evaluate her, in addition to small children and cats. She gets along well with other dogs, but we always recommend opposite sex placement of our fosters. Reba is an energetic and fun loving girl, ready to go whenever you are. |
