Cam is a male 1 ½year old Border Collie Mix. He has a wider head and he could be mixed with some Aussie. He is black and white with a semi rough coat. Cam has a tender personality and his behavior is easy going. He is playful and is a total lap dog. Cam loves to be chased at the dog park. He gets along well with every dogs and loves to wrestle with them also. He has been showing an interest in playing fetch but has not figured out that he needs to bring the ball back all the way, but we are working on that. He is also working on walking better on a leash, so he could use some help there.
Cam has good house manners when a person is home with him. He is now potty trained and has not had an accident in the house for quite some time. He loves his crate, goes into the crate when told to do so. He has good recall, and knows how to shake and sit. Cam has no issues with little dogs - he is around a little dog all day with no issues. I have recently noticed that Cam has started to give her kisses. He has medium energy and will require consistent daily exercise. He is OK with baths, he barks appropriately, does not dig in the yard, does not counter surf, and is not an escape artist.
He has shown some resource guarding over bones, but not with his food. Since Cam has been known to be nippy with children, a home without children is recommended. Cam loves to follow you around and wants to be your next K-9 companion. With additional obedience training, Cam would make a really nice addition to your home.
