Cate is a lovely 1 year old female black and white smooth coated border collie. She has a split face with amber eyes. What a nice dog Cate is. She has nice house manners and it is evident that she was well taken care of in her previous life. She knows her basic obedience commands, and even knows her command to "Go Potty". She is crate trained and will crate right up. She likes all people, and is affectionate.
Cate is not for the first time border collie owner. She is energetic and will require consistent daily exercise and the mental stimulation of a job to do. She still exhibits puppy behavior and will chew on shoes etc, so she will need proper chew toys to channel this behavior. She was evaluated with cats and is quite curious about them, but she did not try to hurt them. She would need to be further managed with them if there are cats in the household.
Cate epitomizes what BC Aficionados like about this breed: Intelligent, Athletic, Beautiful, and Loyal. She wants to form a close bond with her person. She's quite the talker, and will communicate what she wants and needs to you. However, she is not an incessant barker.
