Meet Guinness. What a handsome and stunning male Border Collie he is. He is approximately 18 months old with a red and white semi rough coat. His fur is a bit rough, as it is sun bleached and dry. With some proper nutrition, he coat will greatly improve.
Guinness is a typical border collie who is always looking for the action. He does knows his basic commands and walks well on a leash. He enjoys playing with his foster siblings. Guinness is an affectionate dog with a sweet temperament. However, he is higher energy and is going to need a person who understands BC behavior and is willing to invest the time in him. Guinness really needs a job to do and would not be happy as a backyard dog watching life go by. Not only will he require consistent daily exercise, but he is going to need to be mentally challenged. He does have an off button and would like nothing better than to forge a bond with his person.
Please do not apply for Guinness based up on his looks. He would not be ideal for the first time or casual border collie owner. However, if you are a true BC lover and understand BC idiosyncrasies, then Guinness is the dog for you.
