Meet Johnny. Johnny is a gorgeous male yearling saddle patterned tri-color Border Collie with prick ears and a semi rough coat.
Johnny crates right up and is a great car rider. He is leash trained, has some manners, and knows some basic obedience. He is friendly and outgoing. He has been introduced to other foster dogs without any problems and he loves to play with them. Although Johnny's energy is appropriate for his age, he does appear to be higher energy and will need a job to do. Johnny is looking for an active home with consistent daily exercise, and someone who will provide him mental stimulation so he will not become bored and destructive.
Johnny is looking for his special person to partner with and form a bond. Johnny will make a fine companion as he exhibits all of the lovely traits of a BC. He does not appear to be obsessive. Johnny will continue to blossom as his training progresses under the proper guidance. He's one heck of a nice dog. Johnny prefers a home that is semi active and one where can spend a lot of time with his person. He would be fine as an only dog, however, as with all dogs, especially BCs, it is important that he continues socializing and interacting with other dogs.
