Meet Kai. Kai is an 18 month old male classically marked black and white Border Collie with a rough coat. Kai has a really nice temperament and really enjoys being with people. He loves to climb in your lap and snuggle. Kai knows his basic obedience, is housebroken, and is crate trained. He also travels well in the car. Kai’s energy level is medium, and he will require daily exercise along with proper mental stimulation.
Kai cannot be placed in a home with other male dogs, as we are told he is choosy with which males he likes, however, he is fine with female dogs. He probably would not make a very good dog park dog, since there most likely will be other males there. Kai does not do well with cats or other small animals either.
The ideal home would be one who has had previous BC experience and can demonstrate that they have the right stuff to own this breed. Please do not apply for Kai if you don’t know the breed just because he is so handsome.
