My name is Lassen and I am a male smooth coat, split-face purebred Border Collie. I am 11 months old, am neutered and microchipped. I get along with other dogs, male and female, and would likely do best in a home with other dogs since I LOVE to play. I am doing well with the cats in my household, though I will chase them if they run. I am also good on a leash, have excellent recall, nearly completely potty trained, and crate trained. I know how to use a dog door and I like to ride in my foster Mom's truck. I know basic obedience like sit, down and shake. I have been going to an office during the day to hang out while my foster Mom works and I love it! Everyone that comes in loves me too! I love being a social butterfly.
I am extremely easy to train and just want to please my human. I love to run and play with my buddies and absolutely love my humans. I also like to give kisses! When I come inside, I calm right down and love being inside and around my humans. I do have some herding instinct but have not been tested on livestock. However, I would do just fine being someone's best friend and going for walks and playing with my toys. Since I do like to herd things, a home with some prior Border Collie experience will be necessary. I am great with kids over the age of 8. Please consider me for your forever friend!
