Little Bits is an absolutely adorable 2-year-old Border Collie/Corgi mix (Borgi). She looks JUST like a purebred Border Collie on shorter legs. She lost her home due to no fault of her own. Little Bits was starting to shut down in the shelter so we raced up to Devore to bail her. The animal control officers were having trouble getting her out of the cage, but she was putty in our hands. The woman that works at the front desk was so relieved because she saw how sweet she was the day she came in. When we got her out, she literally skipped.
Little Bits is just the cutest little thing. She is quiet as a mouse (although she did bark some when she discovered my cockatoo’s cage in my office) and is so sweet, loving and affectionate. She’s the kind of dog we call a “non-dog;” as in – there are many times when you don’t even notice she’s around; she’s that well behaved. When she is outside, she simply does not bark. Bits gets along great with other dogs, and probably is okay with cats. She likes other dogs plenty, but would be fine being an only dog. She was fed well and needs to lose around 5 lbs. She walks nicely on a leash and loves to investigate (up on the shorter retaining walls, etc.) while on her walks. She is not destructive at all, is completely potty trained and rides in the car like a champ! She has tons of lovely fur and is such a joy to snuggle up with. A few days ago I saw her use a paper file box that was at the foot of my bed – and ever since then, she has been using it to jump on and off the bed (guess Corgi’s have lots of tricks up their sleeves). Once Little Bits hits our website, she will go very quickly. Little Bits has been tested on a 7-year old boy and was phenomenal.
