Lucie is a 3 year-old black and white female Border Collie/Hound mix. Lucie is extremely sweet and loves everyone she meets. She is great with other dogs and loves to play with them. Lucie is housetrained, good on a leash, knows how to use a doggie door and loves to be with her human. Lucie would do well in a home with children over 8 as she loves to press into you for lovin and belly rubs. Lucie has been known, on ocaision, to talk to you. Lucie would do well in a home as an only dog, also, as long as she can be with her humas as much as possible. Lucie is a medium enery BC mix so she would be happy with a couple of walks a day and playing in the yard. You will instantly fall in love with Lucie the minute you meet her! Adopters must be committed to working with the destruction and energy associated with raising a puppy, along with housebreaking accidents. As with all puppies, socialization and puppy obedience classes are a must. This will ensure that you will have an outgoing, socialized, well-behaved, and well-adjusted adult dog in your family. Lucie's adopters will be required to complete a puppy questionnaire, as well as complete her series of puppy vaccinations, including rabies. In addition to her adoption fee, a refundable deposit is required to secure her sterilization, in accordance with state law.
