Nellie is a beautiful 3 year old blue merle female Border Collie with a hint of Aussie in her. She is very lovable and is great with other dogs. Nellie is not too interested in toys but will try to herd her Foster Mom's dogs while they are playing fetch. She is house trained, knows how to use a dog door, is good on a leash, rides well in a vehicle, and knows "sit", "stay" and "come". Her main interest is being with her human as much as possible, but is fine being left alone for short periods of time, especially if she has a buddy to hang out with. Nellie has not been tested on cats but shows no prey drive with squirrels, birds, etc. She is also good with children. Nellie needs room to run or would need to be exercised 2-3 times a day. She would make a good running or hiking partner.
Nellie is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations and microchipped. She is ready to go into her forever home.
Nellie is being fostered in East San Diego County.
