Nick is a 2 year-old male who has between a smooth and a semi rough coat. He is black and white with quite a bit of mottling on him and he has prick ears. Nick is typical of his breed. He is energetic and needs a job to do, as he is a busy fellow who would be best placed in an active home. His energy level is medium high and he requires a household that is active.
Nick would make a great running or hiking partner. He is very loving and sweet, and likes hanging out with his people. Oh, and Hank absolutely LOVES playing fetch! He listens well, is obedient, and will be a cinch to train. Nick is also crate trained and walks reasonably well on a leash. He already knows his basic obedient commands. He gets along well with other dogs but he likes his personal space and will correct other dogs when they jump on him uninvited when playing. Nick epitomizes what BC fans love about this breed…smart, obedient, and athletic. Nick would be best suited to a home with previous Border Collie experience or a home that is VERY dog savvy. |
