Patty is an adorable 18-24 month-old female black and white BC/Aussie mix. She has a bald (all white) face, cute mottling and black patches. On the smaller side, weighing in at about 35 pounds, she has a lovely smooth coat. Patty was picked up as a stray from a high-kill shelter.
Patty is very sweet and affectionate. She has shown no aggression towards other dogs in her foster home. Typical of a dog her age, she is a bit of a wild child with lots of energy, and will need an active home, as we rate her energy level as medium high.
Patty would rather play than learn her lessons, and as with all dogs, we recommend obedience training for optimal integration into your family. She should settle down as she matures. She is learning not to jump on humans, and small kids could get easily get knocked down by her exuberance. Patty rides well in a crate, and walks decently on leash. |
