Meet Ryan. What a handsome fluff ball he is with his black and white semi rough coat. Ryan is a male border collie mix, possibly with some Newfie, as he has quite a stocky build. He weighs 55 lbs. Ryan is a young adult male, approximately 2 years old. He came to us via Merced Animal Shelter, as he was picked up as a stray. When you first meet him, he can be a bit on the shy side. Spend a few moments petting him and he comes to life. It doesn't take long for him to greet you with a woo- woo. He has medium energy, and loves to play with his foster siblings. Some regular consistent exercise is all he needs. He walks reasonably well on a leash, however, he requires obedience. He will crate under protest, but once he is in a crate he will settle down. This happy go lucky fellow has a sweet and easy going temperament. Ryan has not been evaluated with small children or cats, so we have no way of knowing how he would be around them. Ryan is sweet natured, and would make a really nice canine companion. |
