Gentle Snowy is a 2 year old black and white female purebred border collie. Snowy had a rough start, coming from a ranch where she received harsh treatment, and when we got her, she was very withdrawn and fearful. Since she's been with us, she's found that people can be kind and loving, and this little flower has begun to bloom. Her quick timid glances have now become long soulful gazes into our eyes. From hiding in the back of a crate, she now stretches out under our feet when we sit at a desk working. She's discovered toys and will play by herself tossing them into the air. As if trying to make up for the years of neglect and lack of love, Snowy now wants to be near us all the time - and she comes running when we say her name. This cuddly pup is also an impressive little sheepherder too, although she could be perfectly happy just being a lapdog. She is calm, quiet, good around other dogs, walks well on leash, crate trained, and travels well in a car. The best home for her would be cat-free and she deserves to be an only dog so she doesn't have to share the affection she missed out on in her puppy-hood
