|
Sue is an 18 month old purebred, semi-rough coated Border Collie. She is traditionally marked and a beautiful girl. Sue is your A-typical Border Collie and is very "busy". She will need a Border Collie savvy home who is willing to keep her mind and body busy as much as possible. Sue does have an "off" switch and it's usually in the afternoon.
Sue would not do well in a home with children as she will tend to herd and nip at them. She has not been tested on cats, but her foster home does not recommend she goes to a home with cats or small dogs. Sue can get along with other male dogs, however, would be best placed as an only. She is a dominant female. She would not be a good dog park dog, but loves to play ball and would probably make a good frisbee dog. Sue appears to have some herd drive, however, she has not been tested for this. Sue will need someone who is willing to work with her on further leash training and improving her manners but mostly, to keep her mind on something. Sue rides well in a vehicle, uses a doggy door, and is spayed, microchipped and UTD on all her vaccinations.
Sue is being fostered in East San Diego County.
