TANK
Tank
Tank is a loving and gentle 1 year male old BC mix.  Our best guess is that he might be mixed with Aussie or McNab.  He is technically a sable and white smooth coat, although his outer coat is black with white, while the under coat is brownish.  Tank’s tail is full length and has not been docked, however, it is quite a bit shorter than the average border collie tail.

Tank is quite an easy going dog who is an easy keeper.  He is crate trained and walks well on his leash.  He is well socialized with other dogs, and just craves attention from his foster mom.  Tank just loves his food, and would be motivated to learn obedience if you have treats for him.  He is not a barker, nor is destructive.  Tank could be placed as an only dog and wants nothing more than to forge a close bond with his human.  Tank has a big heart, as he loves everyone he meets and he craves affection.  He just leans right into you once you start to pet him.  He has no problem climbing into your lap to shower you with affection.  His energy level is on the lower side.  Although Tank would enjoy activity in life, he has none of the obsessive traits that are common with this breed since he is of mixed heritage.  Tank really enjoys walking in the park and nothing bothers him, whether it is squirrels or children playing next to him.  He often goes walking with other BCIN fosters without issue.  Tank rides well in a car, and will kennel right up.  He does not seem to bothered by children in the least.  He is a happy and quiet dog, and does not seem to have any obvious behavioral issues.  Tank is a very affectionate dog and would love nothing better than to be your canine companion.  Tank would make some family a wonderful companion and a lifelong friend, as he exhibits all of the nice traits that I look for in an all around family dog.  Please consider giving Tank a forever home.
