Will is a very sweet natured 8-10 years young male border collie. He is a traditionally marked black and white semi rough coat. Will was picked up as a stray and although he had a microchip, his person did not come for him. Will was in pretty bad shape from neglect. He is missing a lot of fur because of a severe case of flea allergy dermatitis. He will need regular flea treatments and his lack luster coat is slowly but surely coming back to life again. He is very sweet and gets along really well with the other dogs. He will interact with them, even though he is a senior. He sure does have a lot of get up and go left in him.
Will loves being with you and has nice house manners. He does not like being in a crate and he will not hesitate to vocalize his displeasure. He favorite spot is to sleep on the floor next to your bed. Will is a potential K9 BFF candidate as he likes to be next you.
Please open your heart and home to adopting a senior. BCIN takes in more than a fair share of the senior BCs, as it is fact that adoption rates in the shelter are reduced significantly once a dog reaches 5 years of age. BCIN was Will's only hope of making it out of the shelter and we gladly welcomed him into our rescue program. Will will be adopted under our senior dog program, so please ask us for details. |
